Teriyaki Beef  Appetizers Recipe

How to Make Teriyaki Beef Appetizers 


1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup mirin, sweet sake, or dry sherry

2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons dry mustard

4 cloves, minced garlic

1 1/2 pounds boneless beef tenderloin or sirloin, cut 1 inch think (partially frozen)

Combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, or sherry, sugar, mustard, and garlic.  Cut partially frozen meat into strips.

Thaw meat completely.  Add to marinade and let stand 15 minutes at room temperature.  Thread meat strips accordion-style on small skewers.  Grill over hot coals to desired doneness about 5 minutes.  Turn and bask with marinade frequently.  Makes 18 appetizers.
