Quick and easy Phyllo Jam Puffs
1/2 pound Frozen Puff pastry
1 Egg
5 Tablespoons Jam
Thaw pastry. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into 2 inch rounds with cookie cutter. Mark the centers with a small cutter or a bottle lid. Do not cut through.
Place on a dampened baking sheet brush beaten egg. Bake for about 10 minutes till well risen and golden. Cool on a wire rack.
Remove centers and put a large teaspoonful of jam in each. Use center of pastry as lids. Can serve warm.
If using strawberries cut large strawberry in half and set on top of each.
