Melt in your mouth SnowFlake Sugar Cookies Recipe
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
8 ounces softened cream cheese
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
Mix cream cheese, butter,sugar and vanilla with mixer, on medium speed until blended. Slowly mix in flour. Cover dough; Refrigerate overnight for best results.
Roll dough to about 1/4-inch thick on lightly floured surface I use wax paper. Cut into snowflakes with cookie cutter sprinkle with colored sugar. Lift cookies with spatula onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Cool on wire racks. Decorate as desired.
Supplies Needed; Snowflake cookie cutters different sizes are fun, colored sugars, and gel. The gel would be used after the cookies have baked and cooled: Sugar can go on prior to baking.
