Grasshopper Pie Recipe
1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
1/4 cup butter
3 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup green creme de menthe
3 tablespoons white creme de cacao
1 1/2 cups whipping cream, whipped
Few drops green food coloring
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix wafer crumbs and butter thoroughly in 9-inch pie plate; press evenly on bottom and sides. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
Combine marshmallows and milk in saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows melt. Cool thoroughly and add liqueurs. Fold marshmallow mixture into whipped cream. Fold in food coloring. Pour into crumb-lined pan. Sprinkle grated semi-sweet chocolate over top. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
