How to make Fruit Rolls
Use Sweet Dough for this recipe:

1 cup prunes
3/4 cup dried apricots
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Melted butter
Confectioners’ sugar
Prepare sweet dough. For filling simmer prunes and apricots in enough water to cover, 30 minutes or until tender,Drain; chop fruit fine and stir in allspice, sugar, lemon peel and juice. Divide dought into 24 pieces. Shape each piece into round ball. Place two inces apart on greased baking sheet. With fingers of both hands, make a depression in each by pushing outward toward edge, leaving 1/2 inch ridge around outside. Fill with 1 tablespoon prune-apricot filling. Let rise about 30 minutes.
heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 15 to 18 minutes. Brush with melted butter, dust lightly dust with confectioners’ sugar. Makes 24 rolls
