Creamy Potatoes Recipe



5 cups thinly sliced potatoes

pinch salt

1 teaspoon ground peppercorns

1 cup light whipping cream

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or swiss cheese


Mix potatoes salt and pepper in a 1-1/2-quart baking dish.  Add whipping cream;  dot with butter.

Bake, covered at 35 degrees till potatoes are tender, about 1 hour.  Remove from oven;   sprinkle shredded swiss cheese on top return

to oven  and bake 5 minutes remove when cheese has melted.

Make 6 servings.
