Creamed Potatoes Recipe


5 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup shredded swiss cheese (4 ounces)

Mix potatoes, and salt and pepper in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Add whipping cream, dot with butter. Bake covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle cheese on top; bake 3 minutes more or until cheese is melted. garnish with parsley or green scallions
Makes 6 servings
