`Great Recipe for Brunch or anytime

1 9″ unbaked pie shell
12 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
1/4 lb natural swiss cheese, grated (1 cup)
4 eggs
2 cups whipping cream
3/4 teaspoon salt

Add the following ingredients if desired: 1/2 cup of fresh mushrooms, 1/3 cup minced onions.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Sprinkle bacon, cheese, onions in pastry lined pie pan.
Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees, reduce temperature to 300 degrees 30 minutes longer.
